The Swinburne Student Life team at Swinburne University of Technology are looking for an Events & Experience Officer to join their team!

This exciting role will contribute and conduct all administrative and operational aspects of the Events service for Swinburne Student Life, delivering quality student experiences through events, fixed engagement space and place making.

Working under the support of the of the team leader, the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate knowledge and experience in customer service, collaboration, stakeholder management and events experience.

About You
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:

  • Demonstrated relevant experience in Event Management or related area with measurable outcomes
  • Demonstrated ability and capacity to contribute to the development of a positive and co-operative team environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and well-developed communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to negotiate and collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders
  • Well-developed conceptual and problem solving skills and ability to adhere to policy, procedure and regulation

Qualifications
  • A relevant tertiary qualification or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
